2) How it works

The camera and a small recorder are fitted to any column or wall with power. Video is sent over 4G at full frame rate, so it can be watched live and recordings exported remotely – no site visits with a laptop. Camera options include fixed, pan-tilt-zoom, long-range and number-plate recognition.

3) Proven in use

Our first redeployable unit went live in Cinderford in the Forest of Dean, using a 4MP pan-tilt-zoom camera recording to a recorder in the council office. The same set-up can be replicated in a police station or control room.

4) Buy, hire or both

Councils can buy units outright to keep as a flexible tool, or [hire them for a fixed period]. We also supply redeployable systems to other organisations that need them.

5) Common questions

5.1) Do we need a permanent CCTV system first?

No. Redeployable cameras work on their own. Many councils use them as a low-cost first step and add a permanent system later.

5.2) How quickly can it be moved?

Under 30 minutes at any site with power and mobile signal. The council can do the move itself once shown how, or we can do it as part of a maintenance agreement.
